Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain in private;
And taking along Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed.
James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James, He gave them the names Boanerges, which is, "Sons of Thunder";
And He did not permit anyone to follow along with Him except for Peter, James, and John the brother of James.
Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the [sons] of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together.
