But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness."Then he permitted Him.
And why am I favored thus, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
Now I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, that often I planned to come to you (and I was hindered until now), that I might have some fruit among you also, just as among the other Gentiles.
whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a demonstration of His righteousness through the passing over of the sins having previously committed, in the forbearance of God,
But the Scripture has confined all under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"
Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing.
