And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful events and great signs from heaven.


And rising up, one of them named Agabus, foretold by the Spirit of a great famine about to happen in all the world, which also came to pass in the time of Claudius Caesar.


And I will give wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke.


Now the [phrase], "Yet once more,"signifies the removal of the things being shaken, as having been made, so that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

And behold, a pale horse, and he who sat on it was named Death, and Hades was following him. And authority was given to him over a fourth of the earth, to kill with [the ]sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
