But Jesus approached and touched them and said, "Arise, and do not be afraid."


And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?'


And when we all had fallen down to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.'


And we heard this voice being uttered from heaven, when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
