"Therefore hear the parable of the sower:


Then having dismissed the crowds, Jesus went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field."


Then Peter answered and said to Him, "Explain to us this parable."


But when He was by himself, those around Him together with the twelve asked Him about the parable.


And apart from a parable He did not speak to them, however, privately to His disciples, he would explain all things.


No longer do I call you servants, because a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things which I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
