If you love only the people that love you, then you will get no reward. Even the tax collectors {\cf2\super [72]} do that.


The Pharisees {\cf2\super [104]} saw that Jesus was eating with these people. The Pharisees asked Jesus’ followers, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and other bad people?”


After Jesus had finished speaking, a Pharisee {\cf2\super [208]} asked Jesus to eat with him. So Jesus came and took a place at the table.


On a Sabbath day, {\cf2\super [252]} Jesus went to the home of a leading Pharisee {\cf2\super [253]} to eat with him. The people there were all watching Jesus very closely.

Then Levi gave a big dinner for Jesus. The dinner was at Levi’s house. At the table there were many tax collectors {\cf2\super [98]} and some other people too.


John the Baptizer came and did not eat \{like other people\} or drink wine. And you say, ‘He has a demon {\cf2\super [138]} inside him.’


But wisdom is shown to be right by the things it does.”


One of the Pharisees {\cf2\super [141]} asked Jesus to eat with him. Jesus went into the Pharisee’s house and took a place at the table.


In Bethany they had a dinner for Jesus. Martha served the food. Lazarus was one of the people eating with Jesus.


Jesus and his followers were also invited to the wedding.
