1 And now make confession to the Lord the God of your fathers, and do his pleasure, and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from your strange wives.


That thou shouldst inquire after my iniquity, and search after my sin?


Doth not he consider my ways, and number all my steps?


6 He shall pray to God, and he will be gracious to him : and he shall see his face with joy, and he will render to man his justice.


And that he that hath begun may destroy me, that he may let loose his hand, and cut me off?


8 Let these things be written unto another generation: and the people that shall be created shall praise the Lord:


6 For the Lord hath built up Sion: and he shall be seen in his glory.


For the evildoers shall be cut off : but they that wait upon the Lord shall inherit the land.


For thou art God my strength : why hast thou cast me off? and why do I go sorrowful whilst the enemy afflicteth me?


7 Add thou iniquity upon their iniquity: and let them not come into thy justice.
