3 And the captains of the chariots perceived that he was not the king of and they turned away from him.
2 For when the captains of the cavalry saw, that he was not the king of Israel, they left him.
And I will send an angel before thee, that I may cast out the Chanaanite, and the Amorrhite, and the Hethite, and the Pherezite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite.
Again I considered all the labours of men, and I remarked that their industries are exposed to the envy of their neighhour: so in this also there is vanity, and fruitless care.
1 Shall I not, as I have done to Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
7 And they shall eat up thy corn, and thy bread: they shall devour thy sons, and thy daughters: they shall eat up thy flocks, and thy herds: they shall eat thy vineyards, and thy figs: and with the sword they shall destroy thy strong cities, wherein thou trustest.
Servants have ruled over us: there was none to redeem us out of their hand.
