2 All the best of the oil, and of the wine, and of the corn, whatsoever firstfruits they offer to the Lord, I have given them to thee.


5 Number the sons of Levi by the houses of their fathers and their families, every male from one month and upward.


3 And the males by their names, from one month and upward, were twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.


And Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying: If you turn to the Lord with all your heart, put away the strange gods from among you, Baalim and Astaroth: and prepare your hearts unto the Lord, and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
