And there came to him the Pharisees tempting him, and saying: Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
5 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house.
3 And they answering, say to Jesus: We know not. And Jesus answering, saith to them: Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
4 For every tree is known by its fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns; nor from a bramble bush do they gather the grape.
