9 And God said to Abraham: Sara thy wife shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name Isaac, and I will establish my covenant with him for a perpetual covenant, and with his seed after him.
1 But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sara shall bring forth to thee at this time in the next year.
2 And God said to him: Let it not seem grievous to thee for the boy, and for thy bondwoman: in all that Sara hath said to thee, hearken to her voice: for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.
And Sara said: God hath made a laughter for me: whosoever shall hear of it will laugh with me.
He said to him: Take thy only begotten son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and go into the land of vision: and there thou shalt offer him for a holocaust upon one of the mountains which I will show thee.
9 These also are the generations of Isaac the son of Abraham: Abraham begot Isaac:
0 And Ezechias begot Manasses. And Manesses begot Amon. And Amon begot Josias.
6 And they were translated into Sichem, and were laid in the sepulchre, that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Hemor, the son of Sichem.
5 For he saith to Moses: I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy; and I will shew mercy to whom I will shew mercy.
7 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the fierceness of the king: for he endured as seeing him that is invisible.
And I brought you into the land of the Amorrhite, who dwelt beyond the Jordan. And when they fought against you, I delivered them into your hands, and you possessed their land, and slew them.
