3 Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction: and he delivered them out of their distresses.
I have lifted up my eyes to the mountains, from whence help shall come to me.
3 And the Lord thundered from heaven, and the highest gave his voice: hail and coals of fire.
1 Set me, O Lord, a law in thy way, and guide me in the right path, because of my enemies.
For the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have seen their affliction, wherewith they are oppressed by the Egyptians.
Arise, and go to Ninive the great city: and preach in it the preaching that I bid thee.
And the men of Ninive believed in God: and they proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth from the greatest to the least.
Wast thou angry, O Lord, with the rivers? or was thy wrath upon the rivers? or thy indignation in the sea? Who will ride upon thy horses: and thy chariots are salvation.
