But he denied [it] in front of all of them, saying, “I do not know what you are talking about.”
And he denied [it] again, [this time] with an oath, saying, “I do not [even] know the man.”
Then a little while later, someone else saw Peter and said, “You are one of them also [i.e., one of Jesus’ disciples].” But Peter replied, “Man, I am not.”
