Peter then answered Him, “Look, we have left everything [i.e., homes, jobs, family, etc.], to follow you. What will we get for it?”


Jesus looked at them and said, “This would be impossible with men, but not with God, for everything is possible with God.”


For nothing that God says [will happen] is impossible.”


Jesus answered, “The things that are impossible with people are [certainly] possible with God.”


and then have [completely] fallen away [from God], to repent again. [It is] because they [continue to] crucify for themselves God’s Son all over again, and hold Him up to contempt.
