But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly, bring out the best robe and put it on him. And put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
Or, do you despise the abundance of God’s kindness and tolerance and patience [toward you], not realizing that His kindness is intended to cause you to repent? [i.e., to change your hearts and lives].
And in this way, when you sin against the brothers by injuring their weak conscience, you are [actually] sinning against Christ.
