Now when the Council members heard these things they were enraged and ground their teeth at him.
He said, “Look, I see heaven opened up and the Son of man standing at the right side of God.”
They threw him out of the city and stoned him [to death]. Those who witnessed [the incident] placed their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.
