109 Bible Verses to Make Devotionals

Hey friend, I want to share something that's been really important for me. Taking time each day to connect with God's word is a game-changer. It's where you find the answers you're looking for, the guidance your soul needs, and the wisdom to handle whatever life throws your way.

Starting your day with a quiet time isn't just about growing spiritually; it's about being equipped to bless others with what you've received. Imagine the impact you can have when you're filled with God's love and wisdom.

Take a moment to really listen to the Holy Spirit speaking through scripture1. You'll be amazed at how your life begins to transform. You'll find yourself less focused on doing things your own way, and more in tune with God's will, experiencing the joy of His presence in everything.

Prayer

Glorious God, I praise you, I bless you for your greatness and mercy! Lord, you know my heart and you know what I need, but in this hour as I prepare to read your word, I ask for wisdom and a humble heart to begin this devotional time. Give me a passion and a yearning to keep my desire strong, to the very end, to learn your word through study and prayer. I've been feeling worn down and weary, but I trust that through your word you'll bring rest and refreshment to my life, because, Lord, I trust in you. Only in your Word do I find the comfort and encouragement my heart needs. Help me overcome apathy, laziness, and distraction; I know I can't do it on my own. Holy Spirit, I ask that you reveal your mysteries and promises to me, and above all, that your will be done in my life. Fill me with your joy and let it be my strength today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
