and cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked thee to anger before the builders.


Why do ye persecute me as God, And are not satisfied with my flesh?


Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; And let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.


He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.


So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: And they walked in their own counsels.


But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.


And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.


And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses.


Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.


and I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.


Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.


And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.


And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.


And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;


Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.


But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
