“For on My set-apart mountain, on the mountain height of Yisra’ĕl,” declares the Master יהוה, “there all the house of Yisra’ĕl, all of them in the land, shall serve Me. There I shall accept them, and there I shall require your offerings and the first-fruits of your offerings, together with all your set-apart gifts.


‘If his offering is an ascending offering of the herd, let him bring a male, a perfect one. Let him bring it at the door of the Tent of Appointment, for his acceptance before יהוה.


‘And any man of the house of Yisra’ĕl, or of the strangers who sojourn among you, who eats any blood, I shall set My face against that being who eats blood, and shall cut him off from among his people.


for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood is for its life. And I said to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘Do not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Anyone eating it is cut off.’


Any man from the house of Yisra’ĕl who slays a bull or a lamb or a goat in the camp, or who slays it outside the camp,”


in order that the children of Yisra’ĕl bring their slaughterings which they slaughter in the open field. And they shall bring them to יהוה at the door of the Tent of Appointment, to the priest, and slaughter them as slaughterings of peace offerings to יהוה.


and does not bring it to the door of the Tent of Appointment, to do it to יהוה, that man shall be cut off from among his people.


‘For whoever does any of these abominations, those beings who do them shall be cut off from among their people.


‘And a woman who approaches any beast and mates with it: you shall kill the woman and the beast, they shall certainly be put to death, their blood is upon them.


‘And a man who lies with a woman during her sickness and uncovers her nakedness: he has laid bare her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood, both of them shall be cut off from the midst of their people.


‘And I, I shall set My face against that man, and shall cut him off from the midst of his people, because he has given of his offspring to Moleḵ, so as to defile My set-apart place and to profane My set-apart Name.


‘And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and slay it at the door of the Tent of Appointment. And the sons of Aharon, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood on the slaughter-place all around.


‘However, if any of the flesh of the slaughtering of his peace offerings is eaten at all on the third day, it is not accepted. It is not reckoned to him who brings it, it is unclean to him, and the being who eats of it bears his crookedness.


יהושע therefore said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.


“I am the door. Whoever enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and shall go out and find pasture.


יהושע said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.


even as Dawiḏ also says of the blessedness of the man to whom Elohim reckons righteousness without works:


for until the Torah, sin was in the world, but sin is not reckoned when there is no Torah.


And the Torah came in beside, so that the trespass would increase. But where sin increased, favour increased still more,


O יהוה, forgive Your people Yisra’ĕl, whom You have ransomed, and do not allow innocent blood in the midst of Your people Yisra’ĕl.’ And the blood-guilt shall be pardoned to them.
