24 He eats up the ground with fierceness and rage, and he does not stand still because of a voice of a shophar.

“I have listened and heard – they do not speak right. No man has repented of his evil, saying, ‘What have I done?’ They all turned to their own course, like a horse rushing into battle.


If a shophar is blown in a city, do the people not tremble? If there is calamity in a city, shall not יהוה have done it?


And while they were still not believing for joy, and marvelling, He said to them, “Have you any food here?”
