And Dawiḏ said, “Let me show loving-commitment to Ḥanun son of Naḥash, as his father showed loving-commitment to me.” So Dawiḏ sent by the hand of his servants to comfort him concerning his father. And when Dawiḏ’s servants came into the land of the children of Ammon,


and sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet, and called his name Yeḏiḏeyah, because of יהוה.


And they buried him, and all Yisra’ĕl lamented for him, according to the word of יהוה which He spoke through His servant Aḥiyahu the prophet.


Moreover, the word of יהוה came by the prophet Yĕhu son of Ḥanani against Ba‛asha and his house, because of all the evil that he did in the eyes of יהוה in provoking Him with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Yaroḇ‛am, and because he struck them.


Tsiḏqiyahu was twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Yerushalayim.


But he said, “O יהוה, please send by the hand of him whom You would send.”


He who sends a message by the hand of a fool Cuts off feet, drinks damage.


If a ruler listens to lying words, All his servants become wrong.


“Thus said יהוה the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, ‘Go and speak to Tsiḏqiyahu sovereign of Yehuḏah and say to him, “Thus said יהוה, ‘See, I am giving this city into the hand of the sovereign of Baḇel. And he shall burn it with fire,


And to you, O profane, wrong one, leader of Yisra’ĕl, whose day has come, in the time of the crookedness of the end,


“And I have spoken to the prophets, and have increased visions. And through the prophets I gave parables.”


And Aharon and his sons did all the words that יהוה had commanded by the hand of Mosheh.


Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but Elohim, who also gives us His Set-apart Spirit.
