“And shall You give heed to the supplications of Your servant and of Your people Yisra’ĕl, when they pray toward this place, and hear from Your dwelling place, in the heavens, and shall hear and forgive?


As far as east is from west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.


Who forgives all your crookednesses, Who heals all your diseases,


Lamed For Your Name’s sake, O יהוה, You shall pardon my crookedness, though it is great.


Ḥet Do not remember the sins of my youth, and my transgressions; According to Your loving-commitment remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O יהוה.


For I know my transgressions, And my sin is ever before me.


Against You, You alone, have I sinned, And done evil in Your eyes; That You might be proven right in Your words; Be clear when You judge.

“See, for peace I had what was bitter, bitter. But You have lovingly delivered my being from the pit of corruption, for You have cast all my sins behind Your back.


“I, I am יהוה, and besides Me there is no saviour.


“I shall wipe out your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I shall redeem you.”


“For My own sake, for My own sake, I do it. For how is it profaned? And My esteem I do not give to another.


Let the wrong forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to יהוה, who has compassion on him, and to our Elohim, for He pardons much.


And now, O יהוה, You are our Father. We are the clay, and You our potter. And we are all the work of Your hand.


Do not be wroth, O יהוה, nor remember crookedness forever. See, please look, all of us are Your people!


“And no longer shall they teach, each one his neighbour, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know יהוה,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares יהוה. “For I shall forgive their crookedness, and remember their sin no more.”


“In those days and at that time,” declares יהוה, “the crookedness of Yisra’ĕl shall be searched for, but there shall be none; and the sin of Yehuḏah, but none shall be found. For I shall pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.


“All the transgressions which he has done shall not be remembered against him – in his righteousness that he has done, he shall live.


“But I acted for My Name’s sake, not to profane it before the nations, before whose eyes I had brought them out.


“But I held back My hand and acted for My Name’s sake, not to profane it before the eyes of the nations, before whose eyes I had brought them out.


“But I acted for My Name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the eyes of the nations among whom they were – before whose eyes I had made Myself known to them, to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim.


“None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered against him – he has done right and righteousness; he shall certainly live.


“Therefore say to the house of Yisra’ĕl, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Yisra’ĕl, but for My set-apart Name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.


“Not for your sake am I acting,” declares the Master יהוה, “let it be known to you. Be ashamed and blush for your ways, O house of Yisra’ĕl!”


Why does this One talk like this? He is blaspheming! Who is able to forgive sins but Elohim alone?


And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who is able to forgive sins except Elohim alone?”


“Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master,


And the Torah came in beside, so that the trespass would increase. But where sin increased, favour increased still more,


to the praise of the esteem of His favour with which He favoured us in the Beloved,


which He has lavished on us in all wisdom and insight,


and, “Their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall remember no more.”


“Because I shall forgive their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall no longer remember.”
