Mosheh and Aharon were among His priests, And Shemu’ĕl was among those calling upon His Name. They called upon יהוה, and He answered them.


And יהוה said to me, “Even if Mosheh and Shemu’ĕl were to stand before Me, My being is not toward this people. Send them away from My presence, let them go.


Rejoice and be glad, because your reward in the heavens is great. For in this way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.


There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Aḇraham and Yitsḥaq and Ya‛aqoḇ and all the prophets in the reign of Elohim, and yourselves thrown outside.


“But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Mosheh and the prophets, neither would they be persuaded even if one should rise from the dead.’ ”


Now there is much else that יהושע did. If every one of them were written down, I think that the world itself would not contain the written books. Amĕn.


To this One all the prophets bear witness, that through His Name, everyone believing in Him does receive forgiveness of sins.


“And after that He gave judges for about four hundred and fifty years, until Shemu’ĕl the prophet.


“And likewise, all the prophets who have spoken, from Shemu’ĕl and those following, have also announced these days.


But if our unrighteousness establishes the righteousness of Elohim, what shall we say? Is Elohim unrighteous who is inflicting wrath? I speak as a man.


What, then, shall we say Aḇraham our father, to have found, according to the flesh?


What, then, shall we say? Shall we continue in sin, to let favour increase?


What, then, shall we say? Is the Torah sin? Let it not be! However, I did not know sin except through the Torah. For also the covetousness I knew not if the Torah had not said, “You shall not covet.”


My brothers, as an example of suffering and patience, take the prophets, who spoke in the Name of יהוה.


for prophecy never came by the desire of man, but men of Elohim spoke, being moved by the Set-apart Spirit.


the words previously spoken by the set-apart prophets, and of the command of the Master and Saviour, spoken by your emissaries,


So the woman bore a son and called his name Shimshon. And the child grew, and יהוה blessed him.


And he ruled Yisra’ĕl twenty years in the days of the Philistines.


And when Ěhuḏ was dead, the children of Yisra’ĕl again did evil in the eyes of יהוה.


And the children of Yisra’ĕl did evil in the eyes of יהוה, and יהוה gave them into the hand of Miḏyan for seven years,


And the Messenger of יהוה came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Yo’ash the Aḇi‛ezerite, while his son Giḏ‛on threshed wheat in the winepress, to hide it from the eyes of the Miḏyanites.


And יהוה turned to him and said, “Go in this strength of yours, and you shall save Yisra’ĕl from the hand of the Miḏyanites. Have I not sent you?”


And it came to be at the turn of days, that Ḥannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Shemu’ĕl, “Because I have asked יהוה for him.”


“And יהוה sent Yerubba‛al, and Beḏan, and Yiphtaḥ, and Shemu’ĕl, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies round about, and you dwelt in safety.


And יהוה said to Shemu’ĕl, “How long are you going to mourn for Sha’ul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Yisra’ĕl? Fill your horn with oil, and go, I am sending you to Yishai the Bĕyth Leḥemite. For I have seen among his sons a sovereign for Myself.”


And Shemu’ĕl took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the Spirit of יהוה came upon Dawiḏ from that day and onwards. And Shemu’ĕl arose and went to Ramah.


But Dawiḏ said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the Name of יהוה of hosts, the Elohim of the armies of Yisra’ĕl, whom you have reproached.


And Elqanah went to his house at Ramah. But the youth served יהוה before Ěli the priest.


But Shemu’ĕl was attending before יהוה – a youth, wearing a linen shoulder garment.


“Bows of the mighty are broken, and those who stumble shall be girded with strength.
