And he came near and kissed him. And he smelled the smell of his garments, and blessed him and said, “See, the smell of my son is like the smell of a field which יהוה has blessed.


And Ya‛aqoḇ kissed Raḥĕl, and lifted up his voice and wept.


Yo’aḇ then went to the sovereign and informed him. And he called for Aḇshalom, and he came to the sovereign and bowed himself on his face to the ground before the sovereign. Then the sovereign kissed Aḇshalom.


Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth, For your carnal-love are better than wine.


And going straight up to יהושע he said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.
