7 And she said, “Who would have said to Aḇraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”

And יהוה said to Aḇraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I truly have a child, since I am old?’


And the child grew and was weaned, and Aḇraham made a great feast on the day that Yitsḥaq was weaned.


And the sister of Taḥpenĕs bore him Genuḇath his son, whom Taḥpenĕs weaned in Pharaoh’s house. And Genuḇath was in the house of Pharaoh among the sons of Pharaoh.


“And I rose up in the morning to nurse my son and saw he was dead. But I looked at him closely in the morning, and saw he was not my son whom I had borne.”


For You are great, and are doing wonders; You are Elohim, You alone.


There is none like You among the mighty ones, O יהוה; And like Your works there are none.


“And you shall say in your heart, ‘Who has brought forth these for me, since I am bereaved and barren, an exile, and wandering to and fro? And who reared them? See, I was left alone – from where did these come?’ ”


“Who has heard the like of this? Who has seen the like of these? Is a land brought forth in one day? Is a nation born at once? For as soon as Tsiyon laboured, she gave birth to her children.


Let the man be cursed who brought news to my father, saying, “A male child has been born to you,” making him very glad.


“For there is no sorcery against Ya‛aqoḇ, nor is there any divination against Yisra’ĕl. Now it is said to Ya‛aqoḇ and to Yisra’ĕl, ‘What has Ěl done!’


so that now, through the assembly, the many-sided wisdom of Elohim might be known to the principalities and authorities in the heavenlies,


when He comes to be esteemed in His set-apart ones and to be admired among all those who believe in that Day, because our witness to you was believed.
