And He said, “I shall certainly return to you according to the time of life, and see, Sarah your wife is to have a son!” And Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.


Is any matter too hard for יהוה? At the appointed time I am going to return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah is to have a son.


And יהוה visited Sarah as He had said, and יהוה did for Sarah as He had spoken.


And Yisra’ĕl set out with all that he had, and came to Be’ĕrsheḇa, and slaughtered slaughterings to the Elohim of his father Yitsḥaq.


And he blessed Yosĕph, and said, “The Elohim before whom my fathers Aḇraham and Yitsḥaq walked, the Elohim who has fed me all my life long to this day,


If only You would hide me in She’ol, conceal me until Your wrath turns away. Set for me a law, and remember me!


And Elohim heard their groaning, and Elohim remembered His covenant with Aḇraham, with Yitsḥaq, and with Ya‛aqoḇ.


And He said, “I am the Elohim of your father, the Elohim of Aḇraham, the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ.” And Mosheh hid his face, for he was afraid to look at Elohim.

to show compassion toward our fathers and to remember His set-apart covenant,


And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.


For this is the word of promise, “At this time I shall come and Sarah shall have a son.”


And if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Aḇraham, and heirs according to promise.


By belief, he sojourned in the land of promise as a stranger, dwelling in tents with Yitsḥaq and Ya‛aqoḇ, the heirs with him of the same promise,
