9 and said, “If, now, I have found favour in Your eyes, O יהוה, I pray, let יהוה go on in our midst, even though we are a stiff-necked people. And forgive our crookedness and our sin, and take us as Your inheritance.”

The Portion of Ya‛aqoḇ is not like these, for He is the Maker of all, and Yisra’ĕl is the tribe of His inheritance – יהוה of hosts is His Name.


Who is an Ěl like You – taking away crookedness and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? He shall not retain His wrath forever, for He Himself delights in loving-commitment.


“And יהוה shall inherit Yehuḏah, His portion in the Set-apart Land. And He shall again choose Yerushalayim.


Please forgive the crookedness of this people, according to the greatness of Your loving-commitment, as You have forgiven this people, from Mitsrayim even until now.


teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you. And see, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Amĕn.

“But יהוה has taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace, out of Mitsrayim, to be His people, an inheritance, as it is today.


“and I fell down before יהוה, as at the first, forty days and forty nights. I did not eat bread and I did not drink water, because of all your sins which you committed in doing evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him.


“And I prayed to יהוה, and said, ‘O Master יהוה, do not destroy Your people and Your inheritance whom You have ransomed in Your greatness, whom You have brought out of Mitsrayim with a strong hand.


And they are Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm.’
