7 And having left there he came to the house of a certain man named Justus, who worshipped Elohim, whose house was next to the congregation.

And we know that Elohim does not hear sinners. But if anyone fears Elohim and does His desire, He hears him.


dedicated, and fearing Elohim with all his household, doing many kind deeds to the people, and praying to Elohim always.


And they said, “Cornelius the captain, a righteous man and one who fears Elohim and well spoken of by the entire nation of the Yehuḏim, was instructed by a set-apart messenger to send for you to his house, and to hear words from you.”


And when the Yehuḏim went out of the congregation, the nations begged to have these words spoken to them the next Sabbath.


And when the meeting of the congregation had broken up, many of the Yehuḏim and of the worshipping converts followed Sha’ul and Barnaḇa, who, speaking to them, were urging them to continue in the favour of Elohim.


But the Yehuḏim stirred up the worshipping and noble women and the chief men of the city, and raised up persecution against Sha’ul and Barnaḇa, and threw them out of their borders.


And a certain woman named Ludia, a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, worshipping Elohim, was hearing, whose heart the Master did open to pay attention to what Sha’ul said.


And some of them did believe, and a large number of the worshipping Greeks, and not a few of the leading women, joined Sha’ul and Silas.


also Yĕshua who is called Justus. These are my only fellow workers for the reign of Elohim who are of the circumcision, who were to me a comfort.
