17 Therefore, indeed, he was reasoning in the congregation with the Yehuḏim and with the worshippers, and in the market-place daily with those who met there.

But the Yehuḏim stirred up the worshipping and noble women and the chief men of the city, and raised up persecution against Sha’ul and Barnaḇa, and threw them out of their borders.


And dedicated men buried Stephanos, and made great lamentation over him.


And immediately he proclaimed the Messiah in the congregations, that He is the Son of Elohim.


For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of silver, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, thankless, wrong-doers,


having a form of reverence but denying its power. And turn away from these!
