19 But Yehuḏim arrived from Antioch and Ikonion, and having won over the crowds, they stoned Sha’ul, dragged him out of the city, thinking he was dead.

But passing through from Perge, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the congregation on the Sabbath day and sat down.


But when the Yehuḏim saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy. And contradicting and speaking evil, they opposed what Sha’ul was saying.


And it came to be in Ikonion that they went together into the congregation of the Yehuḏim, and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Yehuḏim and Greeks believed.


Even with these words they still had difficulty in stopping the crowds from offering to them.


But the Yehuḏim who would not obey stirred up the nations and evilly influenced their beings against the brothers.


And having brought the Good News to that city, and having made many taught ones, they returned to Lustra, and Ikonion, and Antioch,


and from there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been committed to the favour of Elohim for the work which they had completed.


And the crowd of the city was divided, and some sided with the Yehuḏim, and some with the emissaries.


But when a move took place by both the nations and Yehuḏim, with their rulers, to mistreat and stone them,


men who have given up their lives for the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah.


And when the Yehuḏim from Thessalonike came to know that the word of Elohim was proclaimed by Sha’ul at Beroia, they came there also and stirred up the crowds.


And when the blood of Your witness Stephanos was shed, I also was standing by giving my approval to his death, and keeping the garments of those who were killing him.’


and threw him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Sha’ul.


For I shall show him how much he has to suffer for My Name.


I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Messiah יהושע our Master, I die day by day.


Are they servants of Messiah? – I speak as beside myself – I am more, in labours much more, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths many times.


Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have been in the deep,


in many travels, in dangers of waters, in dangers of robbers, in dangers from my own race, in dangers from the nations, in dangers in the city, in dangers in the desert, in dangers in the sea, in dangers among false brothers;


For you, brothers, became imitators of the assemblies of Elohim which are in Yehuḏah in Messiah יהושע, because you also suffered the same treatment from your own countrymen as they also from the Yehuḏim,


the persecutions, the sufferings, which came to me at Antioch, at Ikonion, and at Lustra – what persecutions I bore. Yet out of them all the Master delivered me.
