In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth.


And Yosĕph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It is not in me, let Elohim answer Pharaoh with peace.”


for all the sins of Ba‛asha and the sins of Ělah his son, by which they had sinned and by which they had made Yisra’ĕl sin, in provoking יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl with their worthlessnesses.


and walked in all the ways of Yaroḇ‛am son of Neḇat, and in his sin by which he had made Yisra’ĕl sin, provoking יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl with their worthlessnesses.


“Incline Your ear, O יהוה, and hear. Open Your eyes, O יהוה, and see. And hear the words of Sanḥĕriḇ, which he has sent to reproach the living Elohim.


It could be that יהוה your Elohim does hear all the words of the Raḇshaqĕh, whom his master the sovereign of Ashshur has sent to reproach the living Elohim, and shall rebuke the words which יהוה your Elohim has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’ ”


You are blessed by יהוה, Who made the heavens and earth.


Our help is in the Name of יהוה, Maker of the heavens and earth.


I have hated those who observe lying vanities; But I trust in יהוה.


By the Word of יהוה the heavens were made, And all their host by the Spirit of His mouth,


“For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore יהוה blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart.


For thus said יהוה, Creator of the heavens, He is Elohim, Former of earth and its Maker, He established it, He did not create it to be empty, He formed it to be inhabited: “I am יהוה, and there is none else.


“Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, you who have escaped from the nations. No knowledge have they who are lifting up the wood of their carved image, and pray to a mighty one that does not save.


“They bear it on the shoulder, they carry it and set it in its place, and it stands – from its place it does not move. Though one cries out to it, it does not answer, nor save him from his distress.


They are both brutish and foolish, an instruction of worthlessness is the tree.


Are there among the worthless idols of the nations any causing rain? And do the heavens give showers? Are You not He, O יהוה our Elohim? And we wait for You, for You are the One who does all this.


Ah, Master יהוה! See, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is no matter too hard for You,


He made the earth by His power, He established the world by His wisdom, and stretched out the heavens by His understanding.


Observe! The voice, the cry of the daughter of my people from a distant land, “Is יהוה not in Tsiyon? Is her Sovereign not in her?” “Why have they provoked Me with their carved images, and with foreign worthlessnesses?”


“From before me is made a decree that throughout every rule of my reign men are to tremble and fear before the Elah of Dani’ĕl, for He is the living Elah, and steadfast forever. And His reign is one which is not destroyed, and His rule is unto the end.


Thus said יהוה, “For three transgressions of Yehuḏah, and for four, I do not turn it back, because they have rejected the Torah of יהוה, and did not guard His laws. And their lies after which their fathers walked lead them astray.


“Those observing false worthlessnesses forsake their own loving-commitment.


The message of the word of יהוה against Yisra’ĕl. יהוה, stretching out the heavens, and laying the foundation of the earth, and forming the spirit of man within him, declares,


And Shim‛on Kĕpha answering, said, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim.”


For as the Father possesses life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to possess life in Himself,”


“He who speaks from himself is seeking his own esteem, but He who seeks the esteem of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.


But Kĕpha raised him up, saying, “Stand up, I myself am also a man.”


“And we bring you the Good News, the promise made to the fathers,


And having brought the Good News to that city, and having made many taught ones, they returned to Lustra, and Ikonion, and Antioch,


And they were bringing the Good News there.


And having led them outside he said, “Masters, what do I have to do to be saved?”


saying, “Men, I see that this voyage is going to end with damage and great loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.”


And when there had been a long abstinence from food, then Sha’ul, standing in the midst of them, said, “Truly, men, you should have listened to me not to have sailed from Crete and sustained this damage and loss.


“Therefore take courage, men, for I believe Elohim that it shall be according to the way it was spoken to me.


And having heard that, they lifted up their voice to Elohim with one mind and said, “יהוה, You are Elohim, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them,


“And the next day he appeared to two of them as they were fighting, and urged them to peace, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers, why do you wrong one another?’


So then, concerning the eating of food offered to idols, we know that an idol is no matter at all in the world, and that there is no other Elohim but one.


So this I say, and witness in the Master, that you should no longer walk as the nations walk, in the futility of their mind,


They made Me jealous by what is not Ěl, They provoked Me with their worthless matters. But I make them jealous by those who are no people, I provoke them with a foolish nation.


For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living Elohim speaking from the midst of the fire, as we have, and does live?


For they themselves report what kind of reception we had with you, and how you turned to Elohim from idols, to serve the living and true Elohim,


but if I delay, that you might know how you should behave in the House of Elohim, which is the assembly of the living Elohim – a strong support and foundation of the truth.


Look out, brothers, lest there be in any of you a wicked heart of unbelief in falling away from the living Elohim,


Ěliyahu was a man with feelings like us, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain. And it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.


And Yehoshua said, “By this you shall know that the living Ěl is in your midst, and that He is certainly driving out from before you the Kena‛anites and the Ḥittites and the Ḥiwwites and the Perizzites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Yeḇusites:


saying with a loud voice, “Fear Elohim and give esteem to Him, because the hour of His judgment has come. And worship Him who made the heaven and the earth, and sea, and fountains of water.”


And I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “See, do not do it! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who possess the witness of יהושע. Worship Elohim! For the witness of יהושע is the spirit of prophecy.”


And I saw the beast, and the sovereigns of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to fight Him who sat on the horse and His army.


And he said to me, “See, do not! For I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who are guarding the words of this book. Worship Elohim.”


“You are worthy, O יהוה, to receive esteem and respect and power, for You have created all, and because of Your desire they are, and were created.”


and do not turn aside after worthless matters which do not profit or deliver, for they are worthless.


And Dawiḏ spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who strikes this Philistine and shall take away reproach from Yisra’ĕl? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should reproach the armies of the living Elohim?”


“Your servant has stricken both lion and bear. And this uncircumcised Philistine shall be like one of them, seeing he has reproached the armies of the living Elohim.”
