5 So Kĕpha was indeed kept in prison, but prayer was earnestly made to Elohim on his behalf by the assembly.

And He spoke a parable to them, that they should always pray and not lose heart,


And having realised this, he went to the house of Miryam, the mother of Yoḥanan who was also called Marqos, where many had gathered to pray.


So when he had seized him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to watch over him, intending to bring him before the people after Pĕsaḥ.


And when Herodes was about to bring him out, that night Kĕpha was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers. And the guards before the door were keeping the prison.


And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is esteemed, all the members rejoice with it.


you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks shall be given by many on our behalf for the favour bestowed upon us through many.


Remember the prisoners as if chained with them, and those being mistreated, since you yourselves also are in the body.


Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, so that you are healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous one accomplishes much.
