Then David said to all the assembly, “Bless the Lord your God.” And all the assembly blessed the Lord, the God of their fathers, and bowed their heads, and worshiped the Lord, and did obeisance to the king.


When all the children of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the Lord upon the temple, they bowed down with their faces to the earth on the pavement, and worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures for ever.”


Then Job arose, and rent his robe, and shaved his head, and fell upon the ground, and worshiped.


Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to thy name give glory, for the sake of thy steadfast love and thy faithfulness!


God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne.


May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him!


O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!


In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple.


The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven; and I heard him swear by him who lives for ever that it would be for a time, two times, and half a time; and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be accomplished.


At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives for ever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation;

and swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there should be no more delay,


And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,


Who shall not fear and glorify thy name, O Lord? For thou alone art holy. All nations shall come and worship thee, for thy judgments have been revealed.”


And one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives for ever and ever;


And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!”


At once I was in the Spirit, and lo, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne!


Round the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clad in white garments, with golden crowns upon their heads.


And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives for ever and ever,


And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.


And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints;


And all the angels stood round the throne and round the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
