And the Lord hearkened to the voice of Israel, and gave over the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities; so the name of the place was called Hormah.


He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing.


But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’


The children of the third generation that are born to them may enter the assembly of the Lord.


“You shall not pervert the justice due to the sojourner or to the fatherless, or take a widow's garment in pledge;
