Then she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and a very great quantity of spices, and precious stones; never again came such an abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.


Hiram had sent to the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold.


Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon she came to Jerusalem to test him with hard questions, having a very great retinue and camels bearing spices and very much gold and precious stones. When she came to Solomon, she told him all that was on her mind.


Moreover the servants of Huram and the servants of Solomon, who brought gold from Ophir, brought algum wood and precious stones.

May the kings of Tarshish and of the isles render him tribute, may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts!


Long may he live, may gold of Sheba be given to him! May prayer be made for him continually, and blessings invoked for him all the day!
