You have let men ride at our head; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to plenty.

And He also would have brought you out of distress, into a broad place where there is no restraint. And what is set on your table would be filled with rich food.


In six distresses He delivers you, and in seven no evil strikes you.


To deliver their being from death, And to keep them alive during scarcity of food.

See, we call those blessed who endure. You have heard of the endurance of Iyoḇ and saw the purpose of יהוה, that He is very sympathetic and compassionate.
