Do good, O יהוה, to those who are good, And to those who are upright in their hearts.
When my spirit grew faint within me, Then You know my path. In the way in which I walk They have hidden a trap for me.
For You make them turn their back, When You aim with Your bowstring toward their faces.
Be glad in יהוה and exult, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!
Ḥet The wrong have drawn the sword And have bent their bow, To cause the poor and needy to fall, To slay those who walk straightly.
The righteous rejoice in יהוה, And shall take refuge in Him, And all the upright in heart praise Him.
