And יהוה was with Yehuḏah, so they took possession of the mountains, but they were unable to drive out the inhabitants of the plain, because they had chariots of iron.
However, the children of Binyamin did not drive out the Yeḇusites who inhabited Yerushalayim, so the Yeḇusites have dwelt with the children of Binyamin in Yerushalayim to this day.
and as for you, do not make a covenant with the inhabitants of this land – break down their slaughter-places.’ But you have not obeyed My voice. What is this you have done?
