Proverbs 7:4 - The Scriptures 2009

Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” And call understanding a close friend,

Say to wisdom, "You are my sister," and call prudence your friend.

Say to wisdom: Thou art my sister: and call prudence thy friend,

I shall say to corruption, ‘You are my father,’ – to the worm, ‘You are my mother and my sister.’

Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.

To guard you against the strange woman, Against the foreigner who flatters with her words.

Who would make you a brother to me, Who nursed at my mother’s breasts! Should I find you outside, I would kiss you; I would not be despised.
