Poor is he who works with a lazy hand, But the hand of the hard worker makes rich.
He who tills his land is satisfied with bread, But he who pursues vanities is lacking heart.
The being of the lazy one craves, but has not; While the being of the hard workers are enriched.
Laziness makes one fall into a deep sleep, And an idle being suffers hunger.
“Evil! Evil!” cries the buyer; But when he has gone his way, then he boasts.
He who tills his land is satisfied with bread, But he who pursues vanities is filled with poverty.
She also rises while it is still night, And provides food for her household, And what is lawfull for her girls.
And the captain came to him, and said to him, “What do you mean, sleeper? Arise, cry out to your Elohim, if so be that Elohim shall think about us, so that we do not perish.”
