Of Yeḏuthun, the sons of Yeḏuthun: Geḏalyahu, and Tseri, and Yeshayahu, Ḥashaḇyahu, and Mattithyahu, six, under the hands of their father Yeḏuthun, who prophesied with a lyre to give thanks and to praise יהוה.
The sons of Merari: Maḥli and Mushi. And these are the clans of the Lĕwites according to their fathers:
The sons of Merari: Maḥli, Liḇni his son, Shim‛i his son, Uzzah his son,
And the Lĕwites rose up: Maḥath son of Amasai and Yo’ĕl son of Azaryahu, of the sons of the Qehathites; and of the sons of Merari, Qish son of Aḇdi and Azaryahu son of Yehallel’ĕl; and of the Gĕreshonites, Yo’aḥ son of Zimmah and Ěḏen son of Yo’aḥ;
and to the priests who were written in the genealogy according to their father’s house, and to the Lĕwites from twenty years old upward, by their duties in their divisions,
These are the names of the sons of Lĕwi according to their generations: Gĕrshon, and Qehath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Lĕwi were one hundred and thirty-seven.
And the sons of Merari: Maḥli and Mushi. These are the clans of Lĕwi according to their generations.
the clan of the house of Lĕwi by itself, and their women by themselves; the clan of Shim‛i by itself, and their women by themselves;
And the sons of Qehath by their clans: Amram and Yitshar, Ḥeḇron and Uzzi’ĕl.
From Gĕrshon came the clan of the Liḇnites and the clan of the Shim‛ites. These were the clans of the Gĕrshonites.
From Merari came the clan of the Maḥlites and the clan of the Mushites. These were the clans of Merari.
