“And I am weak today, though anointed sovereign. And these men, the sons of Tseruyah, are too harsh for me. Let יהוה repay the evil-doer according to his evil.”
And יהוה smote the sovereign, so that he was a leper until the day of his death, and he dwelt in a separate house. And Yotham son of the sovereign was over the house, ruling the people of the land.
And Na‛aman, commander of the army of the sovereign of Aram, was a great man in the eyes of his master, and highly respected, because by him יהוה had given deliverance to Aram. And he was a brave man, but leprous.
“So let the leprosy of Na‛aman cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from him as leprous as snow.
And the cloud turned away from above the Tent, and look: Miryam was leprous, as white as snow! And Aharon turned toward Miryam, and look: a leper!
“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. You have received without paying, give without being paid.
And those in the boat came and did bow to Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of Elohim.”
“Then the servant fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I shall pay you all.’
And coming into the house, they saw the Child with Miryam His mother, and fell down and did reverence to Him, and opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
Then the mother of the sons of Zaḇdai came to Him with her sons, bowing down and making a request of Him.
And when יהושע was in Bĕyth Anyah at the house of Shim‛on the leper,
And as they were going to report to His taught ones, see, יהושע met them, saying, “Greetings!” And they came and held Him by the feet and did bow to Him.
and said to Him, “All these I shall give You if You fall down and worship me.”
And when He came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.
And His taught ones came to Him and woke Him up, saying, “Master, save us! We are perishing!”
While He was saying all this to them, see, a ruler came and bowed down to Him, saying, “My daughter is dead by now, but come and lay Your hand on her and she shall live.”
“And many lepers were in Yisra’ĕl in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed except Na‛aman the Aramean.”
But Kĕpha said, “Not at all, Master! Because I have never eaten whatever is common or unclean.”
And it came to be, that when Kĕpha entered, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and bowed before him.
And so the secrets of his heart are revealed. And so, falling down on his face, he shall worship Elohim, declaring that Elohim is truly among you.
And I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “See, do not do it! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who possess the witness of יהושע. Worship Elohim! For the witness of יהושע is the spirit of prophecy.”
