And Ḥizqiyahu responded and said, “Now that you have ordained yourselves to יהוה, come near, and bring slaughterings and thank offerings into the House of יהוה.” And the assembly brought in slaughterings and thank offerings, and all those whose hearts were so moved brought ascending offerings.
And he built the slaughter-place of יהוה, and slaughtered slaughterings of peace offerings and thank offerings on it, and ordered Yehuḏah to serve יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl.
And on that day they slaughtered great slaughterings and rejoiced, for Elohim had made them rejoice with great joy. And the women and the children also rejoiced, so that the joy of Yerushalayim was heard far away.
Let them give thanks to יהוה for His loving-commitment, And His wonders to the children of men!
I slaughter You a slaughtering of thanksgiving, And call upon the Name of יהוה.
Whoever slaughters praise esteems Me; And to him who prepares a way, I show the deliverance of Elohim.
the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who are saying, “Praise יהוה of hosts, for יהוה is good, for His loving-commitment is forever,” of those who are bringing the offering of praise into the House of יהוה. For I shall turn back the captivity of the land, as at the first,’ declares יהוה.
Take words with you, and return to יהוה. Say to Him, “Take away all crookedness, and accept what is good, and we render the bulls of our lips.
‘And when you bring as an offering a grain offering baked in the oven, it is of unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened thin cakes anointed with oil.
‘But if your offering is a grain offering on the griddle, it is of fine flour, unleavened, mixed with oil.
“And when you slaughter a slaughtering of thanksgiving to יהוה, slaughter it for your acceptance.
‘Then Aharon and his sons eat the rest of it. It is eaten with unleavened bread, in the set-apart place. They eat it in the courtyard of the Tent of Appointment.
‘As for the flesh of the slaughtering of his peace offerings for thanksgiving, it is eaten the same day it is offered, he does not leave any of it until morning.
“And burn an offering of thanksgiving with leaven, proclaim voluntary offerings, loudly. For you have loved this, you children of Yisra’ĕl!” declares the Master יהוה.
and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, and unleavened thin cakes anointed with oil, and their grain offering with their drink offerings.
and he fell down upon his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Shomeroni.
Was no one found to return to give praise to Elohim, except this foreigner?”
because, although they knew Elohim, they did not esteem Him as Elohim, nor gave thanks, but became vain in their reasonings, and their undiscerning heart was darkened.
giving thanks always for all to Elohim the Father, in the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah,
Through Him then, let us continually offer up a slaughter offering of praise to Elohim, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name.
you also, as living stones, are being built up, a spiritual house, a set-apart priesthood, to offer up spiritual slaughter offerings acceptable to Elohim through יהושע Messiah.
