And these were the sons of Dawiḏ who were born to him in Ḥeḇron: The first-born was Amnon, by Aḥino‛am the Yizre‛ĕlitess; the second, Dani’ĕl, by Aḇiḡayil the Karmelitess;


And his wife Yehuḏiyah bore Yereḏ the father of Geḏor, and Ḥeḇer the father of Soḵo, and Yequthi’ĕl the father of Zanowaḥ. And these were the sons of Bithyah the daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mereḏ took.


and he returned to Yizre‛ĕl to recover from the strikings with which they struck him at Ramah, when he fought against Ḥaza’ĕl sovereign of Aram. And Azaryahu son of Yehoram, sovereign of Yehuḏah, went down to see Yehoram son of Aḥaḇ in Yizre‛ĕl, for he was sick.


Ḥanun and the people of Zanowaḥ strengthened the Valley Gate. They built it, and set up its doors, its bolts and bars – and a thousand cubits of the wall as far as the Dung Gate.

And their border was toward Yizre‛ĕl, and Kesulloth, and Shunĕm,


Dawiḏ had also taken Aḥino‛am of Yizre‛ĕl, and so both of them were his wives.
