And seeing it, they all grumbled, saying, “He has gone in to stay with a man who is a sinner.”


And the Pharisees and their scribes grumbled against His taught ones, saying, “Why do You eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”


Now this was the witness of Yoḥanan when the Yehuḏim sent from Yerushalayim priests and Lĕwites to ask him, “Who are you?”


For the bread of Elohim is He who comes down out of the heaven and gives life to the world.


Then יהושע answered and said to them, “Do not grumble with one another.


This is the bread which came down out of the heaven, not as your fathers ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread shall live forever.


Therefore many of His taught ones having heard, said, “This word is hard, who is able to hear it?”


From then on many of His taught ones withdrew and were not walking with Him any more.


And there was much grumbling about Him among the crowd. Some were saying, “He is good,” but others were saying, “No, but He is leading the crowd astray.”


neither grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and were destroyed by the destroyer.


These are grumblers, complainers, who walk according to their own lusts, and their mouth speaks proudly, admiring faces of others for the sake of gain.
