“Far be it from You to act in this way, to slay the righteous with the wrong, so that the righteous should be as the wrong. Far be it from You! Does the Judge of all the earth not do right?”


“And now, let the fear of יהוה be upon you. Guard and do it, for there is no unrighteousness with יהוה our Elohim, nor partiality, nor taking of bribes.”


Is it good to You that You should crush, that You should despise the work of Your hands, and shine on the counsel of the wrong?


know then that Eloah has overthrown me, and has surrounded me with His net.


See, I cry, ‘Violence!’ but I am not heard. I cry aloud, but there is no right-ruling.


Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what profit do we have if we pray to Him?’


Let his eyes see his destruction, and let him drink of the wrath of the Almighty.


For Iyoḇ has said, ‘I am righteous, but Ěl has taken away my right.


Only, it is false that Ěl does not hear, and that the Almighty pays no attention to it.


Who has appointed Him His way, or who has said, ‘You have worked unrighteousness’?


I bring my knowledge from afar and ascribe righteousness to my Maker.


The Almighty, we have not found Him out, He is exalted in power and right-ruling and great in righteousness – He does not oppress.


Is mortal man more righteous than Eloah? Is man more clean than his Maker?


“Should a reprover contend with the Almighty? Let him who reproves Eloah answer it.”


Would you also set aside My judgment? Would you pronounce Me wrong, and you be declared righteous?


“Truly I know it is so. But how is man right with Elohim?


Righteousness and right-ruling Are the foundation of Your throne; Loving-commitment and truth go before Your face.


And the strength of the Sovereign Shall love right-ruling; You Yourself shall establish straightness; You shall execute right-ruling And righteousness in Ya‛aqoḇ.


“And you said, ‘The way of יהוה is not right.’ Hear now, O house of Yisra’ĕl, is My way not right? Is it not your ways that are not right?


“And the children of your people have said, ‘The way of יהוה is not fair.’ But it is their way which is not fair!


“And you have said, ‘The way of יהוה is not fair.’ O house of Yisra’ĕl, I shall judge every one of you according to his own ways.”


“Hence יהוה has watched over the evil and has brought it upon us. For יהוה our Elohim is righteous in all the works which He has done, but we have not obeyed His voice.


But according to your hardness and your unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of Elohim,


“The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are right-ruling, An Ěl of truth and without unrighteousness, Righteous and straight is He.


And they sing the song of Mosheh the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvellous are Your works, יהוה Ěl Shaddai! Righteous and true are Your ways, O Sovereign of the set-apart ones!


And I heard another out of the slaughter-place saying, “Yes, יהוה Ěl Shaddai, true and righteous are Your judgments.”
