And do not be concerned about your goods, for the best of all the land of Mitsrayim is yours.’ ”
But when they spoke to him all the words which Yosĕph had spoken to them, and when he saw the wagons which Yosĕph had sent to transport him, the spirit of Ya‛aqoḇ their father revived.
And Ya‛aqoḇ rose up from Be’ĕrsheḇa. And the sons of Yisra’ĕl brought their father Ya‛aqoḇ, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to transport him.
And all the service of יהוה was prepared that day, to perform the Pĕsaḥ and to offer ascending offerings on the slaughtplace of יהוה, according to the command of Sovereign Yoshiyahu.
even as the duty of every day required, offering according to the command of Mosheh, for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the appointed times three times a year: the Festival of Matzot, and the Festival of Shaḇu’ot, and the Festival of Sukkot.
And all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕl set out on their journey from the Wilderness of Sin, according to the mouth of יהוה, and camped in Rephiḏim. And there was no water for the people to drink.
I say, “Guard the sovereign’s command because of the oath before Elohim.
יהוה is righteous, for I rebelled against His mouth. Hear now, all peoples, and see my pain. My maidens and my young men have gone into captivity.
And they shall come against you with battle-axe, chariots, and vehicles, and with an assembly of peoples. They shall set against you armour, and shield, and helmet all around. And I shall commit the judgment to them, and they shall judge you according to their rulings.
So Mosheh registered them according to the word of יהוה, as he had been commanded.
