Genesis 27:32 - The Scriptures 2009

And his father Yitsḥaq said to him, “Who are you?” And he said, “I am your son, your first-born, Ěsaw.”

And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau.

And Isaac his father said to him, Who are you? And he replied, I am your son, your firstborn, Esau.

And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy first-born, Esau.

His father Isaac said to him, “Who are you?” And he said, “I’m your son, your oldest son, Esau.”

And Isaac said to him, "But who are you?" And he answered, "I am your firstborn son, Esau."

And Isaac said to him: Why? Who art thou? He answered: I am thy firstborn son Esau.

Then Ya‛aqoḇ said, “Swear to me today.” And he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Ya‛aqoḇ.

Ya‛aqoḇ then gave Ěsaw bread and stew of lentils. And he ate and drank, and rose up and left. Thus Ěsaw despised his birthright.

And he went to his father and said, “My father.” And he said, “Here I am. Who are you, my son?”
