And Aḇraham ran to the herd, took a tender and good calf, gave it to a young man, and he hurried to prepare it.


And they said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” And he said, “See, in the tent.”


But he urged them strongly, and they turned in to him and came into his house. And he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.


And on that day some were appointed over the rooms for the stores, for the contributions, for the first-fruits, and for tithes, to gather into them from the fields of the cities the portions required by the Torah for the priests and for the Lĕwites. For Yehuḏah rejoiced over the priests and the Lĕwites who stood up.


“He eats curds and honey when He knows to refuse evil and choose the good.


And it shall be, that he shall eat curds because of the plenty milk he gets, for everyone left in the land shall eat curds.


“Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, shall find watching. Truly, I say to you that he shall gird himself and make them sit down to eat, and shall come and serve them.


But would he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare somewhat for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you shall eat and drink’?”


And it came to be, when He sat at the table with them, having taken the bread, He blessed, and having broken, He was giving it to them.


And taking it He ate in their presence.


So they made Him a supper there, and Martha served, while El‛azar was one of those who sat at the table with Him.


not to all the people, but to witnesses, those having been chosen before by Elohim – to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.
