3 But he urged them strongly, and they turned in to him and came into his house. And he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

And Lĕwi made a great feast for Him in his house. And there were a great number of tax collectors and others who sat down with them.


So they made Him a supper there, and Martha served, while El‛azar was one of those who sat at the table with Him.


So then let us celebrate the festival, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Do not forget to receive strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained messengers.


And Giḏ‛on went in, and prepared a young goat, and unleavened bread from an ĕphah of flour. The meat he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot. And he brought them out to Him, under the terebinth tree, and presented it.


And the woman had a fatted calf in the house, and she quickly slaughtered it. And she took flour and kneaded it, and baked unleavened bread from it.
